Spurn Heritage Coast is a beautiful beach with North sea on one side and mouth of Humber river on the other. I would like to call it a Yin Yang beach with peaceful river on one side and ferocious waves on the other.
The beach is 3 miles long but just 50 meters wide. Its a constantly moving peninsula with a unique landscape.
The coast is a stopover point for thousands of migrating birds in the spring and autumn. The area has been recognised as a Nature Reserve by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust
